Text Box: While it is fun to play, we at GEEPY also see DEMOCRACY as an important educational tool. We hope as many of you as possible buy the game so that people of all ages can enjoy it, so that parents can teach their children about important issues facing the world today, and so that we can learn from each other how to make the world a better place.

Equally important, the proceeds of sales will be used to support community based projects and to promote human rights and social justice.

Below are some projects currently supported under our Community Development Programme. Contact us if you are interested in being part of, or supporting the programme.

Asylum Seeker and Migrant Rights Group
Geepy is providing facilitation and support to a newly formed group of Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Migrants in Tralee.

The work has involved training delivery on Community Leadership Skills, facilitation to develop Aims and Objectives, and support in formulating an Action Plan to challenge racism and barriers to services. The work has been conducted using community development principles, in which the people being supported remain in complete control and decide the course of the work and the nature of the support provided.

The group’s core values are to challenge racism and to promote strength in unity among migrant populations.

South West Counselling Centre, Co Kerry
We are providing developmental support to the South West Counselling Centre in Killarney, Co Kerry.

The involves conducting an organisational review and supporting the organisation in the development of a strategic plan for the coming years.
